POCO said it is back with a new Made in India Smartphone. It’s the company’s new affordable mid-range phone with a decent set of specs for the price. Earlier POCO was in partnership with Xiaomi without identity as a separate brand. Then what happened? Is POCO phone is genuinely Made in India? POCO M2 Pro
The POCO M2 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G chipset and comes with up to 6GB RAM of RAM and 128GB internal storage. On the front, the POCO M2 Pro sports a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ screen resolution.
This so called Made In India Smart Phone also supports up to 512GB storage with a micro SD card. There’s also a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port.
As for the optics, the POCO M2 Pro sports a quad-camera setup which includes a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the POCO M2 Pro features a 16MP selfie shooter.
POCO Vs Xiaomi
Poco, which had split off from Xiaomi earlier this year to establish itself as an independent brand, has launched its new Made in India smartphone in the country Poco M2 Pro.
During the launch, the company consistently underlined the fact that all its phones are Made In India Smartphone. It said that Poco was launched from Delhi, India and even its first phone was launched in the country.
Poco M2 Pro comes in three variants. The base model of this Made in India Smartphone which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage has been priced at Rs 13,999 while the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant would cost you Rs 14,999. The top-end model which comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at Rs 16,999.
